How to Build Your First Pholeo: The First Two Minutes

Creating your first Pholeo is an exciting step towards streamlining your event planning process. Let’s walk through the essential steps to get you started.

Creating a New Pholeo

To begin, navigate to your project where all Pholeos reside. If you want to create a new Pholeo under a specific project, click on "Create" and then "Create Pholeo." You’ll be prompted to enter the name of your Pholeo, such as the event name, and assign it to the relevant project—in this case, the Pholeo Launch project.

Navigating the Interface

Once created, you’ll be directed to the Pholeo interface, specifically the Kanban view. Here, you can start structuring your Pholeo by thinking about the architecture. For example, you might create a "Know Before You Go" folder and then add logistics for each day of your program.

Organizing Your Event

Each list within your Pholeo can represent different areas of your event, such as day-by-day production schedules, floor plans, or any other relevant categories. Under these lists, you can add detailed items. For instance, if setup begins at 6 a.m., you can create an item for this task and fill in the necessary details like location, start time, end time, and more.

Adding Details and Assignments

You can further enhance each item by adding pricing information, checklists, photos, and assigning team members responsible for specific tasks. This ensures everyone knows their roles and responsibilities, helping to streamline communication and execution.

Customizing Your Pholeo

Remember, your Pholeo can be as broad or as granular as you need. The flexibility of Pholeo allows you to tailor the architecture to fit your specific event requirements. As you become more familiar with the platform, you’ll discover more ways to optimize your event planning process.

By following these steps, you'll be well on your way to building an effective Pholeo that meets all your event planning needs.
